Building a Legacy of Impact

One Year In

This Thanksgiving season, we’re especially grateful for the athletes, families, friends, coaches, and donors who have helped make 495 Legacy Volleyball more than just a club. Together, we’ve built a community rooted in access, opportunity, and a shared love of the game.

As we celebrate our first anniversary on November 28th, we’re proud to reflect on what the 495 family has accomplished in just one year:

  • 237 athletes participated in 495 camps, clinics, and travel teams.
  • 8 athletes received approximately $12,400 in financial support, helping with club fees, uniforms, and tournament travel, and other expenses.
  • 29 local young adults were trained and employed as coaches, gaining valuable professional experience while mentoring younger players and staying connected to the volleyball community.

These milestones represent more than numbers. They represent opportunities created, financial barriers reduced, and young people growing as athletes, coaches, and leaders.

Help Us Build on Our First Year

Our 2026 Giving Tuesday campaign is about turning our first year’s success into even greater opportunities for athletes!

This season, 12 athletes have been approved for approximately $26,250 in full or partial scholarships. We’ve made a commitment to these players because we believe a family’s financial circumstances should never determine a child’s opportunity to play.

Our Giving Tuesday goal is $26,250, and every donation brings us closer to fulfilling that commitment.

Whether you give $25 or $1,000, you’re doing more than supporting volleyball. You’re investing in young people, strengthening our community, and helping create opportunities that extend far beyond the court.
